1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join Aldi's warehouse operations team. Our warehouse employees play a crucial role in ensuring products are received, selected, and delivered to our stores efficiently. You will work part-time, with fewer than 30 hours per week, in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Training and safety programs are provided to equip you with the necessary skills for success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and participate in inventory counts.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members and leadership for process improvements.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changes.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to company policies.
• Good communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place up to 45 pounds of product on pallets.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the warehouse.
• Work in various temperatures and operate industrial equipment safely.
