1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse worker, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. Our warehouse teams work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving thorough training to ensure success.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budget goals.
• Operate equipment safely and report any quality or safety issues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and collaboration.
• Ability to adapt positively to challenges and changes.
• Drive for success and efficiency in warehouse operations.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, and operating warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.
