Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers a starting wage of up to $24.00 per hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay). As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with peers and leadership.
Job Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning and maintain warehouse appearance.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes and achievement of goals.
- Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
- Operate equipment safely and report any concerns to management.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise and operate powered industrial equipment.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and physical demands.
