1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our growing team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. This position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, with starting pay at $23.75 per hour. Our warehouse operates in both ambient and temperature-controlled environments, providing a dynamic work setting for dedicated individuals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
