1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a package handler, you will be responsible for selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise, sorting and loading products, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety, participating in inventory counts, and collaborating effectively with team members and management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate with peers and management.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety standards.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare for delivery.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
