Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. The position offers 30-35 hours per week, with a starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour. As a Package Handler, your responsibilities will include selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise, sorting and loading merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, participating in inventory counts, and communicating effectively with peers and leadership. You will also be responsible for inspecting product quality, safety compliance, and sanitation practices. Job qualifications include being 18 years or older, demonstrating conscientiousness, collaborating with the team, maintaining a positive attitude, striving for success, and organizing tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, basic arithmetic abilities, and the capacity to work independently and in a team environment. Physical requirements include lifting weights up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, standing, bending, reaching, and operating powered industrial equipment.
