1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, depending on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Collaborate with management to improve processes and achieve goals.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, work in varying temperatures, and operate powered industrial equipment.
