1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a key member of the warehouse operations, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating with team members and management to ensure efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide insights to improve warehouse processes and assist in meeting goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues or concerns.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ergonomic guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
