1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our warehouse operations team at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. With an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, this position offers competitive starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and prepare merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals and follow warehouse procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic programs.

Education and Experience

• Work in varying temperatures, from hot to cold environments.
