1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This role offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage up to $18.00-$22.00 per hour. As a Package Handler, your primary responsibilities will include selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise within the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, cleaning and organizing the warehouse, and participating in inventory counts. You will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure efficient operations and product quality. Additionally, you will be expected to adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain a safe work environment, and contribute to achieving overall warehouse goals.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and product integrity.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Perform various physical tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and properly.
