1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week and a competitive starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay).

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate and organize merchandise in accordance with warehouse guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide feedback to improve processes.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Follow safety guidelines and report any quality or safety concerns.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in various temperatures and environments.
