1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a package handler, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and participating in inventory counts. This role requires working closely with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate and organize merchandise within the warehouse.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Capability to work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
