Job Description
We are currently looking to hire a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for selecting and receiving incoming stock efficiently, relocating merchandise within the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to inventory counts. You will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership, following company policies and procedures to achieve budgeted goals. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.
Job Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must be at least 18 years old and demonstrate the following ALDI Acts competencies: conscientious behavior, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success. Additionally, you should possess strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to interpret company policies, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Physical Requirements
This role involves frequent lifting of products weighing up to 45 pounds, movement of merchandise, standing, bending, reaching, and operating equipment in varying temperatures. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands comfortably.
