1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As part of the warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in handling incoming and outgoing stock efficiently while ensuring the warehouse maintains high standards of organization and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders accurately.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.

Job Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and effectively.
