1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's team. The position offers a starting wage of up to $18.50 - $24.50 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule. You will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, performing warehouse duties, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and collaboration in the workplace.
• Adapt positively to challenges and changes.
• Drive for success and adhere to company policies.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and perform physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
