1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee averaging 30-35 hours per week, you will have the opportunity to earn up to $19.00-$23.00 per hour based on shift differentials. The position requires a 7:00 AM start time for the 1st shift.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide feedback for process improvements and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and report any quality or sanitation issues.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed at ALDI.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
• High school diploma preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and operate equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
