1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week, with starting wages ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour based on shift differentials. The 1st Shift begins at 7:00 AM, offering various schedule options to suit different preferences.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, and drive for success.
• Organize and execute tasks efficiently with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds, frequently at varying heights.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work in different temperature environments, including outdoor and refrigerated conditions.
