1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. As a warehouse stocker, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, ensuring the timely and efficient fulfillment of store orders.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues and leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.
• Operate equipment safely and follow established procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
