1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. As a key member of the warehouse staff, you will be responsible for various duties such as receiving and stocking incoming merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to inventory counts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive and stock incoming merchandise.
• Relocate and organize merchandise within the warehouse.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed at Aldi.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Frequent bending, standing, and moving throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
