1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our dedicated team at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. You will work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, ensuring the quality and safety of our merchandise. A comprehensive training program will equip you with the necessary skills to excel in this position.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, and resilience.
• Organizational skills and efficiency in execution.
• Ability to interpret and follow company policies.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
