1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage is up to $22.75 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st Shift starts at 8:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and quality.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Conscientious, collaborative, positive attitude, drives for success, organizes efficiently.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic arithmetic, pay attention to detail, work independently and in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
