1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. As part of the 1st Shift team, you will have various schedule options to choose from, each with specific working days and off days.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load merchandise for shipment, and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products and report quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and follow company policies.
• Operate equipment safely following guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Conscientious, collaborative, positive attitude, drives for success, efficient in organizing and executing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Basic arithmetic skills, detail-oriented, able to work independently and in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
