1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the team at ALDI. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving and preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with peers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise based on handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform cleaning duties to uphold warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and safety, reporting issues as needed.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals and follow company procedures.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
