Job Description
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as 1st Shift Warehouse Team Members at Aldi. As a Full-Time team member, you will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including receiving and relocating stock, loading and unloading merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, inventory management, and collaborating effectively with your peers and leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment as well as unload incoming shipments.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
- Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and notify management of any issues.
- Independently perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
- Operate equipment safely and notify management of any product quality or safety issues.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Acts Conscientiously, Collaborates with Team, Demonstrates Positive Attitude, Drives for Success, Organizes and Executes Efficiently.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies, good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
- Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures and safely operate equipment.
