1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our warehouse operations at Aldi. Our team ensures that products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores, providing exceptional service to our customers. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, organization, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds at various heights.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Perform tasks in various temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
