1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi's team. As a warehouse team member, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week and starting wages ranging from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differentials.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Possess good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Work in various temperatures and operate equipment safely.
