Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving and organizing incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive and fulfill orders from stores.
• Organize and relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring strategic placement of goods.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
• Interact collaboratively with team members, suppliers, and leadership.
• Operate within delegated responsibilities and assist in achieving goals.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, ability to perform basic arithmetic, and follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, frequently move merchandise, and operate industrial equipment safely.
• Flexibility to work in varying temperatures and physical activities.
