1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a valuable part of our warehouse operation, you will play a crucial role in receiving, sorting, and preparing merchandise efficiently to fulfill store orders and maintain warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock swiftly and accurately.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipping and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Collaborate on process improvements and contribute to achieving warehouse goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues promptly.
• Follow company policies and procedures diligently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, and drive for success.
• Ability to efficiently organize and execute tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place items up to 45 pounds at various heights.
• Move merchandise and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
