1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our growing team at Aldi. As part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. Our warehouse teams work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving thorough training to ensure successful performance.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
• Operate equipment safely according to guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.

Education and Physical Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
