1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. You will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure effective communication and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely according to guidelines.
• Follow ergonomic program and company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate equipment safely.
