Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi's team. As an essential member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently managing stock, organizing shipments, and ensuring warehouse standards are maintained. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Receive and handle incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Prepare and load merchandise for shipment, as well as unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Suggest improvements to enhance warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address any safety or sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
