Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a team member, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with team members and leadership. You will play a crucial role in achieving warehouse goals and ensuring optimal operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to organize, execute efficiently, and adapt to change.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Capacity to work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment safely.
