1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the Aldi team. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for efficiently managing stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail, collaboration with team members, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety, taking independent actions when necessary.
• Assist warehouse management in achieving goals and compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and collaborative teamwork.

• Organized, efficient, and follows company policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, and operate equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
