1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join the team at Aldi. As a full-time position with 30-35 hours per week, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse. You will be responsible for tasks such as receiving stock, organizing merchandise, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. Your work schedule will vary based on different rotation patterns. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse following guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and safety compliance.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Continue physical tasks including bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
