2nd Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a 2nd Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate. Our warehouse operations play a vital role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores, allowing our customers to enjoy quality products. Working an average of less than 30 hours per week, our warehouse employees are dedicated individuals operating in ambient and temperature-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment preparation.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure effective communication with peers and management.
• Provide feedback on process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
• Independently make decisions within delegated responsibilities.
• Support warehouse management in achieving operational goals.
• Perform all tasks accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Report product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues to management.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds at varying heights.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in different temperature environments and operate industrial equipment safely.
