2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our dynamic team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $22.75 - $28.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety.

Shift Schedules

• Schedule A1: Wednesday to Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off)
• Schedule A2: Friday to Tuesday (Wednesday and Thursday off)
• Schedule B: Rotating shifts with weekends off every 3 weeks
• Schedule C: Rotating shifts with weekends off every 4 weeks
• Schedule D: Monday to Friday (Weekends off)

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Inspect product quality and safety, providing feedback for process improvement.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
