2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, ensuring products are handled efficiently. Our comprehensive training and safety program will equip you with the necessary skills for success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders accurately.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
• Operate equipment safely according to guidelines.
• Assist in achieving warehouse goals.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Physically able to perform warehouse tasks in varying temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
