2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time position, you will work approximately 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $22.75 to $28.75 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule you are assigned. The 2nd Shift begins at 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership, providing input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and perform basic arithmetic.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Varying physical activities including sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
