2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication and information exchange.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and maintain sanitation standards.
• Assist in achieving warehouse budget goals.
• Follow company policies and procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Operate equipment safely to perform essential job functions.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Organize and execute tasks efficiently and comply with ALDI standards.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
