2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations by ensuring the efficient receipt, selection, and delivery of products to our stores. Our warehouse employees typically work fewer than 30 hours per week in ambient and temperature-controlled areas. You will receive comprehensive training and participate in a safety program to equip you with the necessary skills for success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment preparation.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input for process improvement and assist in achieving budget goals.
• Inspect product quality and safety, following company procedures.
• Adhere to ergonomic and safety guidelines in operating warehouse equipment.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or within a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift products weighing up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate warehouse equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
