ABF Freight is Seeking an Operations Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join ABF Freight, part of the ArcBest family, in Denver, CO. As a pivotal member of our team, you will oversee and coordinate resources to ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for timely, damage-free, and safe freight handling.
• Maintain proper load plans and ensure load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks, coordinate work schedules, and provide training and feedback to team members.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and promote safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Support a values-driven culture focused on creativity, integrity, collaboration, and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, along with transportation or related experience.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques.
