Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join ABF Freight, an exceptional company within the ArcBest family. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling available resources associated with loading/unloading freight safely and efficiently.

General Description of Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight.
• Assign job tasks to workers and monitor performance.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Work in a team setting to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation or related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
