Job Description

As the Assistant General Manager at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all operations at the hotel and supporting the General Manager. You will lead and coordinate activities to ensure operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and employee excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in daily operations and assign tasks to department heads.
  • Provide training to staff, oversee guest feedback, and manage guest complaints.
  • Maintain records, conduct employee performance reviews, and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
  • Assist in property inspections, maintenance monitoring, and staff leadership.
  • Be available 24/7 for emergencies and actively participate in business planning.

Requirements

  • Degree in hotel management or related field with extensive hospitality experience.
  • Strong management skills and ability to work flexible hours.
  • Experience in financial accounting, personnel supervision, and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication skills and proficiency in computer systems.

Prerequisites

Strong reasoning abilities, language skills, and physical stamina to meet job demands.

Experience

5-10 years in hospitality, including 3-4 years as an Assistant General Manager or equivalent.
