Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in store management by supervising day-to-day activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. You will also be responsible for identifying training opportunities to foster team growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operational results.
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Communicate and model company values to create a sense of teamwork among employees.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback to maintain our competitive edge.
  • Participate in the hiring process and ensure adherence to inventory and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and merchandising standards.
  • Supervise daily operations, ensuring the highest level of customer service.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Previous retail experience and management skills preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years retail experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
