Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and ensuring overall store performance. As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a key role in training and growing the team while upholding the core values of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in retail environment and prior management experience preferred.
