Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring optimal store performance, developing operational strategies, and fostering team growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback on product offerings.
- Supervise inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and merchandising standards.
- Ensure quality, freshness, and accuracy of product displays.
- Contribute to achieving payroll, budget, and training targets.
- Supervise day-to-day team operations and ensure high levels of customer service.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Prior retail experience and management skills preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Management experience is a plus.
