Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring optimal store performance, developing operational strategies, and fostering team growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback on product offerings.
  • Supervise inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and merchandising standards.
  • Ensure quality, freshness, and accuracy of product displays.
  • Contribute to achieving payroll, budget, and training targets.
  • Supervise day-to-day team operations and ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Prior retail experience and management skills preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Management experience is a plus.
