Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, enhancing store performance, overseeing schedules, and fostering team development through training opportunities.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to boost store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Identify training needs for team members to enhance performance.
• Ensure adherence to company strategy and values to promote teamwork.
• Monitor the local competitive landscape and provide feedback on product offerings.
• Participate in the hiring process and maintain inventory and cash control policies.
• Supervise daily operations, ensuring customer service excellence.
• Comply with company policies, maintaining document security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• 18 years old or above.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in retail management is preferred.
