Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing store activities, enhancing overall store performance, supervising staff, and developing operational plans to foster team growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to drive operational improvements.
- Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and make necessary adjustments to maintain market position.
- Participate in the hiring process and provide feedback on product selection.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and optimize product displays for increased sales.
- Contribute to achieving store payroll and budget goals.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying company policies.
- Prior retail experience preferred, including management roles.
