Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing store activities, enhancing overall store performance, supervising staff, and developing operational plans to foster team growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to drive operational improvements.
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and make necessary adjustments to maintain market position.
  • Participate in the hiring process and provide feedback on product selection.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when needed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and optimize product displays for increased sales.
  • Contribute to achieving store payroll and budget goals.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying company policies.
  • Prior retail experience preferred, including management roles.
