Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, improving operating results, and supervising the team to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assist in implementing action plans to enhance store performance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members, fostering a sense of teamwork and achievement.
• Provide training opportunities to improve team performance and service quality.
• Monitor local market competition and suggest strategies to maintain a competitive position.
• Ensure compliance with inventory procedures, product quality standards, and customer service excellence.
• Supervise daily operations, escalate issues when needed, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, manage equipment, and perform general cleaning duties.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age, with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Demonstrated experience in retail management, preferably in a progressive role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency in interpreting company policies, managing budgets, and driving employee performance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior management experience preferred.
