Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day management of our store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, supervising staff, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
• Monitor the competitive environment and suggest improvements.
• Participate in the interviewing process and assist in hiring.
• Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and proper stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
• Prior management experience is a plus.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is preferred.
